Reasons To Be Cheerful

Reasons to be Cheerful at Mummy from the Heart
Here is another Link up I have missed joining in with for the last few weeks. I have been feeling a bit down and found it too much effort to look for the good things in life. Well, that's not the attitude at all, is it?! So, here are the things that are cheering me up this week.

This amazing little chap makes me smile all day. He is so happy and has the most infectious smile. His little face lights up as soon as he sees someone he knows and fills your heart with pure joy. He is delicious!

I have managed to get in to see my Granny twice this week. She had a fall in her bathroom yesterday and I wanted to pop in to see how she was. I took her some brightly coloured flowers. She can't see very well but she can see the colours so that cheered her up a bit. She seemed quite perky and we had a giggle about no more dancing in her bathroom. I said there were better ways of getting people to come and visit her. She is 98 in February!

Granny and Big 10 years ago!

Looking at these two photos they could be the same little boy couldn't they! Bless them, my blonde beauties.

I am most excited by Christmas this year. Big is staying home after having "The worst christmas EVER" with his Dad last year. Selfishly, I am a little glad as he wants to be home for Christmas. Last year was awful! Also, my Brother in Law is coming too and possibly my best friend from London. I can't wait to see them all, it's going to be fantabulous! I am starting to think about making some decorations with Chaos to put up round the house. It's going to be grand!

  1. I am so glad that seeing the good side is feeling easier. That is the worst thing when you feel low, trying to get onto the upwards spiral! I love the first pic, he looks like Max from Where the Wild things are!

  3. Lovely reasons, it's difficult to look on the positive side when lots of rubbish stuff is going on but I think it really helps :)
