This week my poor husband has been working nights. I realise a lot of people work nights but he is a security guard who was posted to a dairy factory 50 miles away. His job was to prevent any protesting farmers gaining access to the property. What this actually meant was he had to stand by metal fencing (the ones used on building sites) letting in delivery lorries as and when they turned up. He had to stand there for 12 hours as the temperature dropped to -7 He then had to drive for an hour and a half to get home so he could sleep for 6 hours before doing the same thing again the next night. He did that for us. He is my HERO and I love him more than words
