Reason To Be Cheerful!

I haven't joined in for a long time and I have some great news to share so it's perfect timing!  My husband currently works over an hour away on 12 hour night shifts for four nights a week. He has been staying in a B&B as he was so tired commuting it wasn't safe to drive. He heard of a job in the next town doing a job he loves so he applied for it before Christmas. He got through the first interview and was shortlisted for the second.  That interview was today and he got the job!!  Due to his previous job he was the only candidate with relevant sales experience so he got it, hurrah! This will make such a huge difference to our family life. We will be back together again and be able to have consistency for the boys. 

That brings me on to mmy second reason this week. We are in the middle of arranging a house swap. Our house is owned by a housing association so we are able to swap houses with other tennents if we want to move. We found a lady who wants to move to our house as we are nearer her family. Her house is ideal for us as it is near school and nursery for the boys. It's also just down the road from where my husband will soon be working!  Both houses have to have an inspection before we are able to move just to ensure they are in a habitable state. So no holes in walls or doors missing etc. Both houses have passed the checks this week so we should have a moving date next week. I'm sure it will be sometime this month so I'd better find some boxes!  What reasons do you have to be cheerful this week? Write them down and join in as everyone loves good news!
