I reckon you're doing a fab job no matter what you think. It's still new to you, you'll get there :-) You def need to think of delegating some jobs, it's good for Big to get into these things, i bet you had chores when you were his age? I did anyway and it was washing up which was crap compared to a dog walk!
Hope things are ok. And that on top of everything else: you're doing brilliantly!

And you don;t have a dishwasher, with 4 kids?! I was struggling with just our 2: get one if you can! I'm in Which? & they like the Bosch SPS40C12GB Classixx (£300) or the Beko DSFS1531 or DS10545 for around £200.

On a practical note: Home Start. They can provide at least some practical help & I'm pretty sure you qualify. I wish we'd used them in the twins' 1st 6 months when we were really struggling. I've only heard good things about them & I met 1 of their workers & she was great. Worth a try? x

Here's their website: http://www.home-start.org.uk/about_us/what_we_do/support_services

Good luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-342268702272911053.post-52894435715967304792013-08-19T08:10:22.420+01:002013-08-19T08:10:22.420+01:00I don't think you need any tips, you're de...I don't think you need any tips, you're definitely heading in the right direction! It is the one thing I found hardest too, having to do everything at home on my own. I remember going to stay with a friend who had two young girls. After supper we put the four of them in the bath and then to bed. When we came downstairs her kitchen was tidy and there was coffee on the table - her husband... and I felt so sad. Over the years it has become easier to the point that I can now work three days a week from home when the kids are home - but my two are older (14 and 11). They have been expected to help out from an early age, I can't do it all on my own, specially when I returned to work fulltime. They moan sometimes but they definitely do a fair bit. And Facebook and Twitter are my life-savers when I work from home and the kids are at school, otherwise I'd get very lonely!
Cybèlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15470546757550328725noreply@blogger.com
