My 3Things...

So another week has whizzed past and I feel like it's only been a couple of days! I suppose when a big event is coming ever closer the time seems to pass quicker if you don't think about it. Emergency Services Show - Hulavington

On Sunday I took the boys to the Emergency Services Show. Chaos has a huge love (verging on obsession) with Firemen, Fire Engines and Fireman Sam so a visit to the show was like heaven on earth for him! He was utterly amazing all day. We arrived at 10:30 and left about 3:30pm. He walked up and down the airstrip all that time! HE LOVED IT!!

Alone...

Why am I writing this? Just to get it out of my head really. I don't expect it to make a difference, that's if you even read it. I just need to stop thinking about stuff and this is the only way I know how (other than talking and my dog said she has heard enough!)

An Uncensored Ranty Post

I feel the need to have a rant. There will be swearing. I am just going to type whatever comes so don't be offended, this is just how I feel for this split second. Why am I doing it? Because the things I want to say aren't suitable for my current audience.. (Chaos and Squish) so you lot get it instead!

Degrees Of Separation

Separating from a partner is never easy. Obviously, the longer you've been together the stronger the tie and the deeper the feelings involved. This is obviously much harder when children are involved. Whatever the situation, it is hard for both people. There is a huge period of adjustment for everyone involved. Inevitably, some people adjust to the new situation faster than others which in itself can be a cause of conflict.

Tuneful Tuesday - Mr Blunt

I was wondering what to share this week as I haven't had much chance to listen to much music over the last week. I have listened with the boys renditions of various nursery rhymes but that doesn't count. This isn't a really new song but it's fairly recent.

Hospital Dash....

What better way to start the weekend than with an emergency dash to hospital?! It's always better if you have people staying that you haven't seen for ages and have no idea this kind of crap is a fairly regular occurrence. For an added bonus, you can undertake this horrendous nightmare as the earliest possibility. Preferably before coffee, tea or anything else that may make you fully conscious and able to function!

My 3 Things....

This has been quite a testing week in many ways but I think I have made some improvements in spite of all the crap things that have haven't gone well.

What A Day...

You know those days when you have several things booked in and as long as it goes like clockwork, life is good. Today has been one of those days, only it didn't go like clockwork. Not any of it.

Tuneful Tuesday - What Doesnt Kill You....

While I was painting my room the other day, I thought I'd put the radio on. I haven't listened to it in a long time. I darent when the boys are here as they have a habit of snapping the aerial off stereos. Once it was tuned in, it was great to hear a few old favourites again!
