Reasons To Be Cheerful

Reasons to be Cheerful at Mummy from the Heart
Hi, glad you could make it! I can't tell you what an honor it is for me to be hosting #R2BC. I started blogging in Febuary this year and this was the first blog hop/linky I joined. You can read my first post here. I didn't know how to link up my post then and it took me a while to work it out. So going from that, to now hosting this fabulous and tremendously popular hop is pretty amazing for me. Like my friend Nat said "This is blogging royalty!"

My reasons to feel chipper this week are:

Hosting this hop for the very lovely Michelle. She is currently in Belarus delivering Christmas presents to under priveleged kids with Operation Christmas Child. She does so many amazing things to raise awareness and make life better for so many. She is am inspirational lady to know.

I have just got back from watching Skyfall with my Husband. He has wanted to watch it for so long so I secretly organised for his brother to babysit so we could have a night out. He loved it (apart from choking on a bit of popcorn!) so you will have to see him for spoilers, I'm not telling! It was great to have a few hours to ourselves AND be out of the house too. Last time was our anniversary in March I think!

I have just had my dose of anti depressants lowered again. I am so happy about this as it means I am one step closer to being me again! Hurrah! I know some of you have noticed a difference in my posts since I had a blog break and changed the name. That is down to the old me returning. I feel much more alive again now and ready to cope with things that are thrown at me. Definitely happy days!

My little Squish is recovering well from burning his hand on Saturday. It has healed over nicely and hasn't got dirty or infected despite him crawling about on it. It still doesn't seem to bother him at all which I am truly grateful for.
The poor little fella had his vaccinations today too. He had Meningitis and MMR so we shall see how he copes over the next few days. I was so proud of him. He literally only cried while Mary, the childrens nurse, injected him then stopped in between. He had three jabs all together and was all smiles again before we left the room. He is my little ray of sunshine and I love him to bits.

I am really looking forward to reading all your posts so please link them up below in the usual way and hop about to share some comment love! (Don't forget to add the code to your post too)

Next weeks lovely host is Sally from Pressies By Pebbles who is also a fairly new blogger so show her plenty of blog lovin' you wonderful peeps!

Have a great week and see you soon x

  7. Hi Kat. I read this yesterday morning around 3am but can't post comments on my mobile. It was such a great post for me to be introduced properly to your blog. I've been following you on twitter for a while but hadn't got around to any #bloglove. So glad to hear you are on the up and sounds like the blog break has re-ignited you. I love your new title and look forward to reading more about you and your family. Thanks for all your wonderful comments on my blog. I like you a lot already! :) xxx
