A Trip to the Big Smoke

Yesterday, we decided to go and buy my sister her birthday present and make a bit of a trip of it. It has been ages, like AGES since we went out anywhere (other than sodding Tesco!). So we dressed our little charges and bundled them into the car for our fun filled trip.


After dropping Big at school we headed to the train station. From town a train ticket costs the same as driving and parking for a few hours. As the boys have never been on the train before we decided to take them.

Chaos watching the world go by while Squish peeps out from his hood

First stop...

Because it would be rude not to!

Nothing like an apple cinnamon and a bit of coffee in the morning.

Followed by a little walk up the High Street.

This is Squish's first time being out walking and he did really well, bless him.

He looks so tiny too!

Chaos had other plans.....

Further on we discovered our favourite shop had closed. 

No more Disney Store.

Chaos didn't take the news well....

He was soon up and running again though, tormenting the poor pigeons!

He soon wore himself out enough to get him back in the buggy without a fight so we thought 

we would head back home.

Their little faces as we went through a tunnel. 

"Bye bye train" says Chaos, clutching his ticket. 

We had a great time! 

Both boys were worn out after their run about and slept like little logs.
