I love joining in with Claire this linky. Even if you feel like your week has been an utter disaster, it helps you realise that all is not lost and some things have been amazing while others are a work in progress. It's like a weekly progress chart and I think its a brilliant idea.
This Weeks Utterly Pants Things
1. We have all been ill with a horrible chesty cough and cold resulting in very little sleep, tiny meals and grumpy people. My little girl is by far the worst so I really hope she gets better soon as it's horrible watching her suffer. Also hope I'm better soon as I'm finding it very hard being ill and looking after 3 sick kids. I'm knackered!
Due to us being ill nothing else has really happened so I am behind with everything but trying really hard not to stress about it. I did request moving Christmas to the following week but apparently that would bugger up New Year so my request was denied.
Things To Focus On This Week
IT'S CHRISTMAS!!
I am going to try not to panic that things are not exactly as I planned them and go with the flow.
I want to be kind to myself. Having 3 sick kids under 4 is no joke and I think I'm doing ok keeping things together so far.
Forgetting the housework (bar the necessary) and having fun. I get to stressed about the state of the house so for this week, stuff it!
What Totally Rocked
I have had the calmness to do crafts and cooking with the boys when they felt up to it.
We had a totally amazing Solstice, thanks to my eldest (I am so proud of that boy I could cry)
I MADE CRACKERS! Ok so I bought a kit but I still put them together and bought personal treasures for the boys. We were all pleased with them.
I have no idea what next week will bring but have yourselves and AMAZING Christmas and be kind to yourselves xx
